Sculpture - Steel, Iron and Rocks

Last term I took sculpture 2 where I learned how to weld!! I made a bunch of awesome steel sculptures. I also carved a bunch of rocks which is what I really love doing. Here are some images of my work:
This is an iron cast I made of my body. I went to an iron pour at SAW (Salem Art Works) in upstate new york in the Fall. I had never seen a foundry before but the students from other schools were extremely helpful it creating this piece.


Most of these pieces will be featured in Unions Senior Invitational Exhibit in the Mandeville Gallery in the Nott which goes up in May.
